Ogata Korin was born as the second son of a kimono fabrics shop "Gankinya" in Kyoto. He was not only a painter but also a craft man.
The extraordinary sense of design is called as "Korin pattern", which has had a great influence on Japanese paintings, crafts, and designs up to the present day.

Ebisu is one of the Seven Lucky Gods. He is a god of good business, good fishing and harvest.
Also known as Yebisu, he is the God of Fishing, Shipping and Commerce and is the only one
to have his origins in Japan.
