Kiyomizu Ware is one of the representative crafts in Kyoto, and is characterized by its high decorativeness and variety. It does not have a fixed style and incorporates various techniques.
This product is a set of 5 pieces of Kiyomizu Ware chopstick rest with the hand-painted rabbit design inspired by “Choju-Giga (Frolicking Animals)”. It is one of the most famous set of illustrated scrolls in Japan and is said to have been painted in the 12th century. The name of the design "Kosan-ji" is named after Kosan-ji temple in Kyoto which holds the scrolls.
This set of 5 chopstick rests features a different rabbit on each one, making it a delightful addition to your table.
The size and color may be slightly different as each product is handmade. This product is not suitable for the microwave or the dishwasher.
