This exquisite sake glass is adorned with Aizu lacquerware, skillfully crafted in Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture. It stands as a shining example of one of the region's most renowned artisanal traditions.
The crafting of Aizu lacquerware commenced in 1590, and the traditional process typically includes the application of lacquer layers onto a wooden base, followed by the addition of enhancements like coloring, maki-e (a Japanese lacquer art technique), and gold leaf. The integration of glass craftsmanship has seamlessly merged traditional methods, resulting in a harmonious blend of Japanese and Western styles.
It comes with a paper box.

Please note that this product is not suitable for use in the microwave, dishwasher, or dryer. To ensure its longevity and performance, we recommend handwashing with a soft sponge. The surface is delicately covered with lacquerware, and using a soft sponge will help prevent scratches.
