Description
It was said that Kokeshi dolls spread as a souvenir in the hot springs of the Tohoku region in the latter half of the Edo period.
Gunma Prefecture is the largest production of "The modern Kokeshi" in Japan.
“Haru no yume (Spring Dream)” is a kokeshi doll wearing a pink kimono that reminds us of spring when cherry blossoms dance.
Kokeshi dolls are vulnerable to light and humidity. Please avoid places exposed to sunlight or high humidity.
There are individual differences because each is handmade.

Beautiful
I received Kokeshi Doll number two yesterday in the post "Haru no yum" just beautiful. Delivery was really smooth and easy considering I live in a regional area in Australia. The customer service was exceptional and the Kokeshi Doll is an absolute work of art. The craftsmanship is exceptional and "Haru no yum" certainly lives up to her name as a "Spring Dream".
