Regarding Size
Yukatas come in three sizes: 56(M), 59(L), and 63(XL). For some patterns, there is a larger size option, 63 WIDE(XL WIDE). If the 63 WIDE(XL WIDE) option is not available in the size options, that pattern does not have an XL WIDE size. If you are looking for 63 WIDE(XL WIDE), please check YUKATA FULL LENGTH XL WIDE SIZE .
*Please use the waist size as a reference only. The fabric measurement around the torso is listed in the size chart. If the fabric overlaps at approximately 23 inches (60 cm) from the front, it will stay in place even with movement.
*Our kimonos and yukatas are unlined.
Normally, the XL WIDE size is made to order and takes about 2-3 weeks. However, if we have it in stock, we will ship it immediately.

What is a Yukata?
A yukata is a lightweight, casual form of kimono traditionally worn in summer and at Japanese inns (ryokan). Unlike formal kimono, it is designed for everyday comfort — making it a beloved choice as room wear, a bathrobe alternative, or a stylish loungewear piece at home.

About the Kikko (Hexagonal) Pattern
The Kikko mon-yo (亀甲文様) takes its name from the hexagonal shell of the tortoise (kame), a creature revered in Japanese culture as a symbol of longevity, wisdom, and good fortune. The interlocking hexagons create a geometric pattern of remarkable elegance — timeless in its simplicity, deeply rooted in Japanese tradition. Great quality!
I purchase this to replace a yukata I had bought in 2005 which failed only because of hanging it on a metal hook. I actually saw the pattern that was on my previous yukata in the ad for this one. Apparently that pattern is no longer available, but upon receiving this one quickly, I might add, I discovered it has exactly the same manufacturer tag. I expect to be wearing this for another 20 years. Sophisticated and beautiful. Great fabric.
