This product is a lidded cup made by Hirota glass.
Hirota glass, established in 1899, is one of the oldest glassmakers in Tokyo.
The technique of cut glass called Edo kiriko is one of the traditional crafts in Tokyo. It has a history of more than 180 years and was designated as Traditional Crafts of Japan in 2002.
The beautiful cutting of this product is done by artisans one by one.
The pattern is very traditional, but the product looks modern and can be used in various ways.
For example, the lid can be used as a small plate, and the cup can be a candle holder.
