Description
Japanese folding screens (Byobu) made from some panels. They are used to divide a room or to keep one space hidden or separate private area, and also used to interiors. It is said that the long history of Byobu imported to Japan in the 8th century.
This small table top four-panel folding screen featuring a famous for Sotatsu Tawaraya's "Fujin Raijin Zu Byobu" that is National Treasure. Some parts are hand-painted.
