Description
These ornamental swords are crafted in Gifu Prefecture, a region historically renowned for Japanese sword-making. The blades of these decorative swords are machine-made, offering a more affordable option compared to Iai practice swords.
The glossy black swords showcase a traditional design, with the sheath finished using a lacquering technique called Ro-nuri. This method involves applying multiple layers of lacquer while meticulously polishing the wooden surface to achieve a smooth and refined finish.
