Regarding Size
Yukatas come in three sizes: 56(M), 59(L), and 63(XL). For some patterns, there is a larger size option, 63 WIDE(XL WIDE). If the 63 WIDE(XL WIDE) option is not available in the size options, that pattern does not have an XL WIDE size. If you are looking for 63 WIDE(XL WIDE), please check YUKATA FULL LENGTH XL WIDE SIZE .
*Please use the waist size as a reference only. The fabric measurement around the torso is listed in the size chart. If the fabric overlaps at approximately 23 inches (60 cm) from the front, it will stay in place even with movement.
*Our kimonos and yukatas are unlined.

Exactly what I wanted

What I hoped for
I was searching for an ‘alternative’ dressing gown, and having enjoyed a holiday in Japan, decided I would search for the Japanese equivalent. Interestingly there were a few English-sourced sites, but I chose Kyoto as I knew their product would be authentic; and their price point is competitive.
Delivery was very prompt and I am delighted with my Yukata - in white. I am 5’9” tall of medium build and the 59 (M) is just right. The size guidance was very useful - the English options tended to be one size fits all, which I doubt. I am very happy with my choice.

Beautiful product
My husband was absolutely delighted with his yukata. The quality is really good and it is just as it looked in the photo. It is a genuinely good product and similar to one we bought many years ago in Tokyo. The delivery was really quick in less than a week which was impressive.
