The Happy Customer Contest was closed at the end of July. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers who shared happy stories with us! In this article, we would like to introduce another story by one of our happy customers who visited our physical store in Kyoto a few weeks ago.
Beste san, a scientist living in Tokyo and working as a university lecturer, decided to stop by Kyoto, a city she had always wanted to visit, during her business trip to the Kansai region. She was staying at a Machiya-style guesthouse Warakuan, a few doors down from Kyoto Handicraft Center, and found our store when she went out for a stroll.
“Your shop was on my wishlist because I wanted to buy a special present for my boyfriend and you seemed to be a good source with options. But I didn’t really count on coming. Then I recognized your sign when I stepped out of Warakuan for a stroll. I had haphazardly booked my stay right next to you!”
When she came in, she first picked up and purchased a men's Yukata for her boyfriend as well as many other miscellaneous items, and then browsed through the store and found a one-of-a-kind antique Yukata for herself, which is available in our physical store.
She fell in love with the antique Yukata at first sight and brought it back, saying she wanted to wear it immediately! The next day, she came back to our store and showed us some beautiful photos of herself in the Yukata taken at the guesthouse she was staying! The Obi and Geta in the photos are her own items, but she styled them very nicely!
As she sent us those photos via email, she kindly gave us a compliment.
"Thanks so much for your help in choosing this beautiful garment!"
We were so happy to hear that she was satisfied with her purchase. We hope she will cherish the Yukata and her boyfriend will also love the gift from her! Thank you very much for coming to our store and sharing such lovely photos, Beste san!
Our physical store offers many more products that are not available on our online store. If you have a chance to come to Kyoto, don’t forget to come stop by our store and look for your own unique gifts!
