The brand is popular with the Imperial family and has many fans both in Japan and abroad.
This is one of the most attractive design in Tatsumura’ fabric. The original cloth was a covering of a writing desk at Soun-ji temple, Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture in the 15th century. The fabric is a silver brocade with a ground filled with silvered paper stripes. A liner cloth and a tassel are attached to show attractiveness of the main fabric.
