This was printed in late years by UNSODO publisher (Kyoto), using original woodblocks from the Meiji period.
Ogata Korin was born as the second son of a kimono fabrics shop "Gankinya" in Kyoto. He was not only a painter but also a craft man.
The extraordinary sense of design is called as "Korin pattern", which has had a great influence on Japanese paintings, crafts, and designs up to the present day.
The back color is gorgeous gold and there is river which has characteristical pattern of silver color. This is typical pattern of " Rinpa style".
