This set pairs a pure silver incense holder with an Arita ware porcelain plate. The incense holder is crafted by Chikueido, a metal craft workshop that has continued in Kyoto for over 200 years since the Edo period — carrying forward ancient aesthetics through refined silversmithing techniques.
Silver possesses a more subdued beauty than gold, and deepens in character over time — gradually developing a tasteful, smoky patina that makes each piece uniquely your own. Both the front and back of the holder are intricately carved in three dimensions, with an elegant watermark pattern.
Versatile in use: place it on the included plate as an incense holder, or thread it on a chain to wear as a pendant.

Care Instructions
If oil or fingerprints mark the surface, gently wipe with a soft cotton cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water and a small amount of baking soda to remove slight yellowing. Be sure to dry thoroughly afterwards. Silver is a soft material — please handle with care.
