We invite you to experience the beauty and craftsmanship of these extraordinary works.

NOH MASKS
We are pleased to introduce handcrafted Noh masks, carefully created one by one by the artisans of the "Omokage" workshop, located in Kyoto’s Gion district.
Noh masks are used in Japan's traditional performing art, Noh. These masks possess an enigmatic quality, appearing to smile or express sorrow depending on the angle from which they are viewed.
Noh is a traditional Japanese theater where actors perform without words, relying solely on music and dance to tell the story. Through the stillness of a Noh mask, the combination of music and dance vividly conveys the full spectrum of human emotions to the audience.

UCHIKAKE
We are pleased to present antique (vintage) uchikake, ranging from pieces created 20–30 years ago to those crafted approximately 100 years ago.
An uchikake is a resplendent kimono traditionally worn during Japanese wedding ceremonies, specifically for the bride’s outfit change.
You will be captivated by the breathtakingly intricate embroidery.
Please enjoy the luxurious embroidery, traditional dyeing techniques, and unique patterns that beautifully reflect the artistry of each era.

Hand painted KAKEJIKU
Each piece is a one-of-a-kind work, entirely hand-painted by the artist.
You can feel the artist's breath and presence through the brushstrokes.
While many hanging scrolls are partially pre-drawn using silk screening and then finished by hand, every piece in this collection is entirely hand-painted by the artist, making it truly unique.
A Kakejiku, or hanging scroll, is a traditional Japanese art form used for displaying calligraphy, paintings, or other artworks. It is typically made of paper or silk, mounted with decorative borders, and designed to hang vertically on a wall. Kakejiku are often changed seasonally or for special occasions, and they serve as a focal point in traditional Japanese rooms, particularly in the alcove called tokonoma. These scrolls reflect the harmony of Japanese aesthetics and are appreciated as both art and cultural expression.
