This product is made in Obama City, Fukui Prefecture.
The place is known for the production of Wakasa lacquerware which was designated as Traditional Crafts in 1978.
More than 80% of lacquered chopsticks of Japan are made in Obama City.
It is a set of 5 pairs of chopsticks which comes in a wooden box.
Three different kinds of wood such as zelkova, ironwood and yew tree are used as materials and the look is very simple and natural.
The tips are thin, so you can easily pick up food with these chopsticks. Two pairs are 21cm and the others are 23cm.
It is not dishwasher-safe, so please wash it by hand after use.
