Description
This product is a lacquered wooden bowl made in Ishikawa Prefecture which is known for producing Yamanaka lacquerware. Its history began in the 16th century and has developed by inviting skillful craftsmen from Kyoto or other production areas in Japan since 19th century.
In Japan, this type of bowl is often used for cooking sushi rice, but it can also be used as a salad bowl or for other purposes.
It is handmade one by one. Please note that the grain of wood and the color of lacquer may have slight difference between the images and the actual product.
Please refrain from using the microwave, dishwasher and dryer.
