Yamanaka lacquerware is made in Yamanaka hot springs area of Kaga City in Ishikawa Prefecture.
Its history began in the 16th century and has developed by inviting skillful craftsmen from Kyoto or other production areas in Japan since the late Edo period, the 19th century.
It has both beauty and functionality.
This place mat can be used on both sides. The ancient vermilion is slightly dark red. It has a profound feeling and prestigious image.
