Description
Mokuzougan is a traditional wooden craft that creates pictures by cutting out a designed shape from a board and inlaying a piece of wood in a different color.
Skilled techniques are required as the materials must be cut into exactly the same size to fit without gaps. It is made in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture known as the origin of a wide variety of timber.
This is a framed art of Katsushika Hokusai's Red Fuji expressed with the original color of wood. As it is made of natural materials, there may be individual differences in color.
