"Garden of Katsura Rikyu" is a woodblock print designed by Minagawa Taizo. Minagawa Taizo is originally a textile artist. This woodblock print remains the beauty of textile taste and brings another artistic quality by taking woodblock printing techniques.
It was exhibited as a traditional craft and purchased by His Majesty the Emperor at the tree-planting festival in 1991.
With a modern impression, it fits into any Japanese or Western space.

Minagawa Taizo was borm in Kyoto.
He is a dyeing and weaving artist who is a councilor of Nitten and has received numerous awards such as the Minister of Education Award.
After traveling both domestically and internationally, he tried to depict a objects what he saw and felt as possible as he could and abstract
the actual landscape. He was always worked powerfully and creative attractive arts.
