Description

This product is a lacquered box with an impressive repeating pattern of davallia leaves.
It is made in Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture which is known for producing Aizu lacquerware. Aizu lacquerware has a history of more than 400 years and was designated as Traditional Crafts of Japan in 1975.
The inside is lined with suede, so you can put items without worrying about scratches. It is suitable for keeping pens and other small items.
Please avoid keeping the product in direct sunlight, excessive dryness or humidity. For cleaning, please use a soft cloth to remove dust and fingerprints as the surface is very delicate.
Please note that the product may differ slightly from the images shown.

There may be some fallout of colored powder due to the hand-painting.
