Aizome (Indigo Dye) is a traditional technique of dying which has been popular in Japan for a long time. The technique was being used in the world with a long history. Around the 7th century, it was introduced to Japan. In Edo period (1603～1867), it became popular among the common people. Aizome has deodorant, antibacterial effects and insect proofing. Ai-iro (Indigo color) is called “Japan Blue” and has become the symbolic color in Japan.
Bamboo is a symbol of prosperity because it is evergreen and hard to fall down. This noren is good for room interior.

・Please do not use any bleach.
・Recommend hand washing or machine wash with a neutral detergent using a laundry net.
・Please wash it separately from white fabrics to prevent color transfer.

・Stretch out wrinkles when hanging it out to dry.
