Yukata is a type of kimono and is easier to wear than kimono. It is common to wear events such as summer festivals and fireworks displays. This is a yukata for children. In Japan, kites are generally flied and played on New Year's Day. The meanings of the letters drawn on the kite are auspicious words such as "寿 (kotobuki) : congratulation”, “福 (fuku) : fortune", and "禄 (roku) : blessing”. The sleeves have a thin band of self-fabric, so you can wear it immediately. The material is 100% cotton, so it is soft to the touch and breathable. You can wash it at home, but you need to be careful as it shrinks easily and color transfer.
