This product is made in Obama City, Fukui Prefecture.
The place is known for the production of Wakasa lacquerware, which was designated as Traditional Crafts in 1978. Over 80% of lacquered chopsticks in Japan are made in Obama City.
It is a gift set of 2 pairs of chopsticks and chopstick rests which comes in a Washi paper box.
The chopsticks are coated with the cloth of Yuzen dyeing of Kyoto, which is colorful and gives the impression of Japanese style.
The tips have non-slip finish, so you can easily grab food with these chopsticks. It can be used for a wide range of gifts such as wedding gift, to parents, and to friends.
Please note that it cannot be select the colors and patterns for the rests.
There are individual differences in how the pattern appears for chopsticks.
It is not dishwasher-safe, so please wash them by hand after use.
