A creation of "Kyo-nishiki ori" which expresses
elegance, brilliancy and dignity of ancient city Kyoto using various color tasted threads especially gold and silver.
"Halberd" is a work about the halberd of the Gion Festival that is three greatest festival of Kyoto.
The Gion Festival that take place during terms from 1st to 31th July is a prayed festival for removal of accidents from 869 years.
The halberd gradually changed luxurious decoration, because it is influenced by trading with foreign country and development of industry such as Nishijin brocade.
The work is framed and ready for it.
